Capítulo 3A Grammar Quiz MOVED to Tuesday!

Due to the unusual schedule this week and so many students being out parts or all of Thursday and Friday I am moving the Capítulo 3A Grammar quiz to Tuesday. Please keep an eye on my blog for review materials for any student that will be out for any reason. You will be responsible for knowing this Grammar material by Tuesday, so please come to school Monday with any questions you have over the material. Thanks for being flexible and working hard!

Monday – Students will correct Friday’s Grammar Assignments and play a vocabulary game to review for Tuesdays Capítulo 1B Vocabulary and Spelling quiz.

Tuesday – Students will translate Capítulo 1B vocabulary from Spanish to English and English to Spanish. We will begin Capítulo 1B Review for Thursday’s Test.

Wednesday – Students will review for Capítulo 1B Test

Tuesday – Students will watch Videohistoria 1A & 1B in Spanish and answers questions about what each video is about.

Thursday – Students will take notes on Adjectives and Adjective Placement in Spanish and practice using these grammar skills by creating sentences in Spanish.

Tuesday – Students will evaluate culture facts about México, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Spain and Colombia and answer questions about them.

Wednesday – Students will complete Fondo Cultural assignment and watch a video over Día de los Muertos.

Thursday – Students will learn about the Día de los Muertos traditions in several Spanish speaking countries and begin designing a calavera mask.

DATE CHANGE!! EXAMEN – TEST

There will be a test next Wednesday, October 3rd, over all of the material covered so far in Spanish 1. This includes, the Spanish alphabet, numbers 0 – 100, classroom commands, vocabulary Para Empezar – Primera Parte & Segunda Parte, Notes on Tú vs. Usted (formal and informal), and Notes over Nouns and Definite Articles (masculine and feminine). Please be reviewing the material on your own each day to prepare for the test. If you have questions or concerns please feel free to ask me! ¡Buena suerte! (Good luck!)
